I know, I know, it's been over a week and I haven't posted. It's amazing how much can happen in a weeks time. What can I say, sometimes life comes at you fast (but not as fast as those commercials). The kids started school and there were school supplies to get, doctor appointments to go to, wonderful people from my past finding me on Facebook again, Chrissy Ott giving birth to a beautiful and healthy boy and Adam Dunn is now a Diamondback for chrissakes.
And this weekend is bound to give me some great blogging material as I am embarking on my first Ghost-hunting expedition. Yes, you heard me right and no, I haven't gone off the deep end. Those of you that know me may not be surprised and those that read my post about ghosts were probably expecting something like this. But last month I joined an organization that thus far has proven to be a very professional, resourceful and flakey-free as you may ever find in the study of paranormal science. They are an official TAPS family member recognized as a professional organization by the now famous Atlantic Paranormal Society from the TV show.
I'm off to Tombstone, Arizona for a night of spirit seeking amidst the town made famous by Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday and the infamous OK Corral. We're investigating the famous Birdcage Theater as well as a noteworthy and supposedly "haunted" Bed & Breakfast that I'm actually staying in. It should prove to be an interesting experience.
Be sure to check in next week for all the details.
